CAPCOM Slashes Dragon’s Dogma 2 Price and Axes Microtransactions Soon, Ending the ‘Pay-to-Win’ DLC Controversy that Drew Launch Backlash

CAPCOM has announced that the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Deluxe Edition and several DLCs won’t be available for purchase anymore starting on June 25, 2026, 12:00 AM (UTC). Moreover, the base game will receive a permanent discount, though the publisher didn’t say how much.
