Samsung’s 12-Hi HBM4E Reportedly Passes NVIDIA Qualification, Paving Way For Next-Gen AI GPU Supply

Samsung Electronics has reportedly cleared another major hurdle in the increasingly competitive HBM race, with its next-generation 12-layer HBM4E memory reportedly passing qualification testing at NVIDIA and several major hyperscalers. According to a new report from Korean outlet Hankyung, Samsung’s memory division completed qualification testing of its 12-Hi HBM4E with NVIDIA and other large data center customers toward the end of September.
