Chinese memory manufacturer CXMT’s market share in the DRAM memory chip industry is coming under pressure as behemoth Samsung scales its production and the market starts to focus on high bandwidth memory (HBM) chips. The latest statistics come courtesy of Counterpoint Research, and they outline that CXMT’s market share in the DRAM market grew to 9% in Q3 2026 for a four percentage point jump over the year-ago figure.
