Xbox Restructuring Guts Age of Empires Custodian World’s Edge, Cutting Half the Team as Activision Takes Over

Today’s Xbox restructuring has seriously damaged another studio: World’s Edge. According to its Creative Director, Adam Isgreen, just under half of the team (including him) has been laid off. In a LinkedIn post, he teased that there were intriguing plans for upcoming projects, though it’s unclear if those have been canceled outright. As previously mentioned in today’s announcement, the Age of Empires custodian is also being moved out of Xbox Game Studios entirely.
