Gaming’s 2025 was largely marked by great indie or double-A releases, but our list of most anticipated games of 2026 is filled with triple-A games. That’s not to say there won’t be great indie launches, or that all of these AAA releases will succeed, but the calendar suggests a resurgence for big-budget titles coming from well-known studios.
