TSMC Secures Approval For Sub-1.4 Nanometer Manufacturing Plants, Says Report As Race With Intel Heats Up

The Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has started to prepare plans to manufacture chips with technologies more advanced than the 1.4-nanometer technology node. TSMC’s 1.4-nanometer process is its next-generation technology designed to replace the current 2-nanometer node.
