It’s been nearly three years since Netflix announced a Gears of War movie adaptation. Now, though, things are moving faster, following the May confirmation that David Leitch would direct the film. The American director is known for movies like Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, Bullet Train, and The Fall Guy, all of which are firmly in the action genre.
