Star Wars has had a bit of a mixed run in terms of gaming as of recent years, particularly under the (meant to be) decade-long tenure of EA exclusivity between 2014 to 2024, only for this to end in 2021 due to poor performance, though the argument could be made that most titles hit the mark financially, and even the “below expectations” Battlefront 2 did well, despite the significant controversy over the loot boxes.
