At BlizzCon 2026, Blizzard Entertainment made a surprise announcement of Diablo V, a new installment in the hack-and-slash action RPG franchise. The new game will be released in Spring 2029 and will place players in a Sanctuary that has already fallen to Diablo, giving it an entirely different vibe from what fans are used to.
