A Lenovo-Serviced Gaming Laptop With An RTX 5090 Was Returned Damaged To A Customer With Corner Edge And Top Part Scraped, Company Is Asking $400 To Repair

A Lenovo Legion 7i, said to be in pristine condition and equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 64GB of RAM, and an RTX 5090, took a trip to the company’s service center to be treated for some thermal throttling issues because the CPU temperature was reaching a toasty 102°C. However, the customer says that there was visible damage when the gaming laptop was returned to him, with the keyboard deck and corner edge displaying visible damage.
