Star Wars Zero Company Thrives on Critic Reviews and Steam, yet Bit Reactor Furloughed 80% of its Team Before Launch

Star Wars Zero Company launched last week to highly positive reviews from critics, and it also appeared among the best-selling games on Steam. However, as reported by Game File’s Stephen Totilo, the game’s developer, Bit Reactor, is in big trouble, having furloughed a large portion of its workforce just weeks before the game’s launch. A Bit Reactor representative called it a difficult decision made before it was clear how the launch would ultimately perform.
