AMD Turns to Samsung for HBM4 Memory as Lisa Su Races to Match NVIDIA’s Rubin

AI chip designer AMD will procure HBM4 memory from Samsung and has signed an agreement to this effect, according to remarks made by CEO Lisa Su. The firm held its Advancing AI event earlier this week, and Su revealed the decision to bring Samsung into the fold to reporters at the conference.
