Today, Netflix announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire Warner Bros., including HBO Max, HBO, its film, television, and gaming studios, for $82.7 billion. As you may recall, Warner Bros. Discovery was formed following the merger of AT&T’s WarnerMedia division with Discovery, which was announced on May 17, 2021, and officially completed on April 8, 2022.
