This morning, Japanese developer and publisher KONAMI announced that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater became a million seller on the day of its release (Thursday, August 28), according to KONAMI’s own search when combining retail and digital sales. It’s a solid start for the remake of 2004’s Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which was originally released as a PlayStation 2 exclusive and subsequently made it to the Nintendo 3DS in 2012.
