Yesterday, Ukrainian developer GSC Game World has unveiled the roadmap of updates coming to STALKER 2 for the remainder of 2025. Chief among them is the engine upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.4, which should deliver performance improvements, but new missions and anomalies are also on the way, as well as improvements to the modding tools. We don’t yet know the release date for the PS5 version of STALKER 2, but we might get the news at Gamescom 2025, where the build will be playable.
